Musicale Awards Ceremony
All trophies and plaques will be presented in the park. In the event of ties, like awards will be given to tying groups. Score sheets will be given out at this time.

Awards Information

For Festival Rating Only: Recognition for Superior (89-100) and Excellent (78-88.9) performance will be awarded.

In Competition: Trophies indicating Superior or Excellent performance will be awarded to groups having first, second, third, fourth and fifth highest scores in each division.

Elementary, middle/junior high and senior high school Champion Trophies will be presented for instrumental and choral groups. Each area will have a champion award given as listed below. Soloist awards will be presented in all areas, as well as accompanist awards at the discretion of the judges.

Choral Concert Championship
One Musicale Choral Champion Trophy will be awarded to the choir with the highest numerical score, where there is competition from another school regardless of class or division.

Show Choir/Jazz Choir Championship
One Musicale Choral Champion Trophy will be awarded to the show or jazz choir with the highest numerical score, where there is competition from another school regardless of class or division.

One Musicale Band Champion Trophy will be awarded to the stage/jazz band with the highest numerical score, where there is competition from another school regardless of class or division.

Orchestra Concert Championship
One Musicale Orchestra Champion Trophy will be awarded to the full/string orchestra with the highest numerical score, where there is competition from another school regardless of class or division.
